Woe! Stupid State Tests!

Aargh!  The Boy and Merlot have had strep, he went to school today and Merlot was home again.  All day Jumping Bean was tearful and whiney but kept denying illness.  She finally admitted tonight that she had felt bad all day but didn't want to miss her big state testing week at school.  Now she has fever.

AAAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHH !

I have got to go to work tomorrow!

And whoever came up with putting so much pressure on kids with these standardized state tests?  They now count as part of their semester grade.

Ridiculous that The Boy had to go to school before he was feeling better and that my 10 year-old was afraid to tell me she was sick because she was afraid to miss a day?

I am going to borrow from my very dear friend, what I feel is an appropriate name to call the bozos that inflicted our children with this crap.  They are:

ASSMUNCHING SHITMONKEYS

I felt like that picture was appropriate for what I imagine that the bozos look
like as they are sitting around a table coming up with education policies.
